ZenKraft I Stand with Standing Rock Chronicle

I stand with Standing Rock Chronicle
The following Travelers Notebook is a tribute to the movement that has developed at the Standing Rock Tribe Reservation near rural North Dakota.
The tribe’s members and hundreds of other Native people have been protesting the construction of the Dakota Access pipeline since April. When built, the pipeline will stretch more than 1,100 miles from oil fields in North Dakota to a river port in Illinois. The tribe claims that the pipeline—which climate activists portray as a sequel to Keystone XL—could threaten their sole water source and that, more importantly, they were not consulted before the pipeline was approved.
I believe the Dakota Access Pipeline must not be built on sacred land, and the people must rise in protest to prevent this impending travesty from occurring. This notebook will be auctioned, and the proceeds will go to the Standing Rock Sioux Tribe Legal Aid Fund in support of the legal efforts now in action. http://standwithstandingrock.net/donate/
As a wise man once said, “if you don’t stand for something, you’ll lay down for anything.”
This is the “I Stand with Standing Rock” Chronicle from ZenKraft!
